📋 Description

• Support the Credit function and associated Simplot priorities • Maximize quality sales and make sound credit decisions • Collect accounts in a timely manner • Ensure credit policies and procedures are followed • Analyze financial strengths and weaknesses of prospective and existing customers to determine credit or financing eligibility • Establish and maintain an effective communication network for credit information • Develop, implement, and manage collection procedures • Manage follow-up inquiries, negotiate with past-due accounts, and refer accounts to collection agencies • Provide input for updating credit policies with new concepts and procedures • Analyze and recommend specific reserves for bad debt expense when assigned • Communicate and implement Simplot's Credit Policy and Procedures • Assist in providing and interpreting credit information for management and others • Remain informed of agricultural trends, changes, and practices

🎯 Requirements

• Eligible candidates must reside within the state of Tennessee or Mississippi • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university • 5+ years minimum related experience and/or training • Finance, credit and/or relative Ag experience highly preferred • Ability to analyze financial strengths and weaknesses of prospective and existing customers • Knowledge of credit, financing, collections, bad debt reserves, and credit policies and procedures • Familiarity with agricultural trends, changes, and practices • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% • Satisfactory completion of a post-offer criminal background check
