📋 Description

• Lead, grow, and develop a full-stack engineering team, including hiring, onboarding, 1:1s, performance management, and career growth • Coach and mentor engineers and create conditions for high performance • Set team direction, goals, and priorities by translating product strategy into a clear execution plan • Own end-to-end delivery of full-stack product features across frontend, backend, and APIs • Guide architecture, review technical work, and unblock complex problems • Steward architectural decisions and manage technical debt • Establish standards for code health, testing, performance, observability, and operational ownership • Resolve ambiguous problems and adapt plans as priorities shift • Remove technical, process, and cross-team impediments • Hold the team accountable for outcomes while maintaining delivery momentum • Partner with Product Management on business alignment, planning, and resourcing • Collaborate with engineering, platform, and QA teams for clean feature integration and quality • Improve broader organizational processes, standards, and ways of working • Continuously improve Agile practices, team velocity, quality, and delivery

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in software engineering • 2+ years directly managing or leading engineers • Proven ability to lead and grow full-stack engineering teams, including distributed or hybrid teams • Strong technical depth across modern frontend TypeScript and React and backend services and APIs • Track record of delivering complex product features end to end on predictable timelines • Ability to define ambiguous problems, form plans, and drive them to completion • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies • Strong leadership and communication skills • Experience with Kotlin or comparable JVM backend services preferred • Comfort owning production services, including CI/CD, observability, reliability, and operational ownership preferred • Experience adapting teams through reorganizations, roadmap shifts, or rapid growth preferred • Experience partnering with Product Management and designers preferred • Interest in AI-assisted development and engineering productivity preferred • Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, preferred • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States at hire
