📋 Description

• Provide direct support to the U.S. Forest Service, Plumas National Forest, for the Protect and Recovery Project • Consolidate project requirements to support federal budget formulation, execution, and reporting • Work with management and technical staff to plan, estimate, and schedule work • Support the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative as requested • Support the Project Manager and USFS leadership with project data processing, tracking, and reporting • Analyze cost and schedule performance • Coordinate subcontracting efforts • Communicate project trends and issues to the USFS • Provide planning, integration, technical expertise, and operational analysis for assigned projects • Prepare project plans using Microsoft Project, Excel, and Microsoft Word • Deliver projects through planning, coordinating, and managing enterprise resources • Facilitate regular meetings and follow up on tasks and issues • Transfer important information to senior management • Prepare and adjust current- and future-year spending plans as funding changes • Advise senior management on fiscal resource status and future requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a closely related field is required • Seven (7) years of combined experience related to project management, finance management, natural resource management, or federal contract management • CO/COR qualifications and/or experience preferred • Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Microsoft Word • Ability to support federal budget formulation, execution, and reporting processes • Knowledge of budgetary, funding, and policy implications for US Forest Service programs and activities • Ability to analyze cost and schedule performance • Ability to identify project risks/issues and develop solutions • Ability to develop integrated short- and long-term budgets and contingency plans • Ability to advise senior management on fiscal resources and future requirements
