📋 Description

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of 2–3 analysts, including goal setting, feedback, performance management, and career development • Set and maintain the technical and analytical quality standards for SQL, dbt models, dashboards, and analyses • Manage day-to-day prioritization of Operations stakeholder requests and escalate tradeoffs and resourcing decisions • Lead complex cross-functional analytical initiatives from ambiguous business problems through analysis and decision-ready recommendations • Diagnose root causes in data and translate findings into concrete recommendations • Lead scenario analysis and impact sizing for product, operational, and staffing decisions • Establish standards for Operations dashboards and reporting, including KPIs and documented assumptions • Present findings to operational stakeholders and senior leadership and defend methodology • Own the quality and reliability of dbt models and analytical datasets • Partner with central data teams on upstream pipelines and data-platform needs • Replace manual data pulls with maintainable reporting, automation, and alerting • Partner on the Operations analytics AI roadmap, including use-case prioritization, data readiness, and validation • Ensure trusted data, metrics, and evaluation frameworks support agent development • Track deployed-agent performance against Operations goals • Define where AI can be trusted and where human review remains necessary

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, or strategic operations • 2+ years directly managing analysts as direct reports, including performance management, hiring, and career development • Advanced, hands-on SQL; ability to write, QA, and optimize complex queries • Working fluency in dbt; ability to build and review models and make sound design decisions • Experience owning complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end • Experience building and maintaining dashboards in Sigma, Tableau, or a comparable tool • Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate complex problems clearly to senior leaders • High attention to detail and ability to identify data quality issues • Live, on-screen technical exercise required during the interview process
