📋 Description

• Shape new projects and requests from HHS OCIO into scoped, prioritized work • Build intake, planning, and team rhythms that enable fast delivery without unnecessary overhead • Own a product workstream, translating user and stakeholder needs into product vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog • Partner with HHS and Skylight leadership as priorities shift • Serve as the team’s front door with OCIO • Lead a small team of product managers in a player/coach capacity • Support the development and performance of direct reports • Coach individuals through growth, feedback, and day-to-day challenges • Support the ATO/GRC tool replacement modernization effort • Contribute to the CTIR Intelligence Data Hub, consolidating threat intelligence sources into a FedRAMP High-compliant workbench

🎯 Requirements

• Understand lean product principles and how to apply them, including minimum viable product, across product life-cycle stages • Develop product strategies focused on problems, outcomes, roadmaps, and success criteria • Execute product strategy through scope decomposition, prioritized backlogs, validated user stories, and team ceremonies • Understand and apply human-centered design • Collaborate with researchers, designers, engineers, and other disciplines • Manage clients and stakeholders to build trust, alignment, and healthy team environments • Understand and apply agile and lean software development methodologies • Experience directly managing product managers • Track record of establishing lightweight team systems and agile practices • Strong client-facing consulting experience turning ambiguous requests into scoped work • Experience on cross-functional product, design, engineering, and operations teams in iterative delivery • Mindset and work approach aligned with Skylight’s core values • All work must be conducted within the U.S., excluding U.S. territories • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship • Able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance • Successfully complete a company background check • Some federal-contract roles require a degree or additional years of experience as a substitute
