📋 Description

• Collaborate with product and engineering during project scoping and refinement to identify risk and establish test plans • Perform manual exploratory testing and validation of new projects within the pod • Test Android-based software running on custom hardware and firmware • Work with engineers and QA to define, design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts across mobile, Android, web, and backend technology stacks • Participate in bug triage and incident response to reproduce and advocate for timely resolution of important software defects • Collaborate with QA team members across pods to improve testing efficiency and foster a sustainable workload

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the quality assurance field • Clear and effective verbal and written communication • Capable of analyzing business requirements from a customer’s perspective • Hands-on testing experience with mobile devices (Android + iOS) • Experience testing software on embedded Android devices • Familiarity with ADB, system logs, and Android internals • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to identify and foresee requirement gaps • Experienced with logging and tracking defects throughout the defect lifecycle • Strong understanding of the SDLC, Agile testing, and software testing methodologies
