📋 Description

• Own the performance and day-to-day management of the Slate ecom site and Amazon shop • Optimize both sites for conversion, speed, and mobile experience • Improve UX/UI across the homepage, product detail pages, cart, and checkout • Identify customer friction and resolve it quickly • Build and update Shopify landing pages, product pages, and merchandising updates • Implement light front-end changes using HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript as needed • Troubleshoot site issues and coordinate with external developers • Analyze user behavior and funnel performance to identify drop-off points • Develop and execute A/B tests to improve conversion rate, average order value, and retention • Manage email/SMS agency activities supporting email journey optimization • Optimize onsite merchandising, navigation, search, personalization, and acquisition-aligned landing pages • Manage SEO contractor and website/blog SEO optimization • Execute product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns across Slate.com and Amazon • Monitor and optimize campaigns in real time • Oversee lifecycle agency and SEO contractor performance against KPIs and budget • Track, analyze, and report ecommerce KPIs including CVR, AOV, revenue, LTV signals, and bounce rate • Report weekly to the CGO and monthly to the executive team • Report on brand, product, giveaway, and promotional campaign performance • Build clear dashboards for decision-making • Translate data into insights and collaborate with the CGO on strategic site optimization decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 3–6+ years in ecommerce, growth, or digital marketing roles (startup or high-growth experience preferred) • Hands-on experience with Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS (JavaScript a plus) • Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization and digital funnels • Highly analytical, with experience using tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Shopify analytics, etc. • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving quickly with limited resources • Strong ownership mindset—you don’t wait for direction, you find opportunities and act on them • Experience with A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO) • Familiarity with retention tools (Klaviyo, Attentive, etc.) • Basic understanding of SEO and site performance optimization • Experience working in a DTC brand or omnichannel business
