📋 Description

• Perform manual review and scoring of home sleep studies according to AASM scoring guidelines and company protocols • Review automated scoring and use clinical judgment to validate and correct sleep staging, respiratory events, oxygen desaturations, arousals, and other clinically relevant data • Maintain scoring accuracy while meeting productivity expectations in a high-volume workflow • Identify studies requiring physician review or clinical escalation • Maintain detailed documentation and quality standards • Participate in quality assurance reviews, calibration exercises, and scoring consistency initiatives • Collaborate with physicians and clinical team members to support timely study completion and efficient workflow • Stay current with AASM scoring rule updates, industry best practices, and emerging sleep medicine standards • Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and workflow • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Current Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist–Sleep Disorders Specialist (RRT-SDS) credential required • Additional state licensure may be required based on the states in which services are provided • Minimum of 5–8 years of sleep study scoring experience required • Extensive experience performing manual scoring and quality review of sleep studies • Strong knowledge of AASM scoring guidelines and sleep medicine principles • Experience reviewing automated scoring and making clinically appropriate corrections • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to scoring accuracy and consistency • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment while adapting quickly to changing priorities, workflows, and business needs • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to consistently meet productivity goals • Proficiency with sleep scoring software and electronic health record systems • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a remote clinical team • WatchPAT and CloudPat experience preferred • Previous experience performing quality assurance, scoring audits, or scoring oversight • Comfortable learning new technologies and adapting to evolving workflows
