📋 Description

• Direct and manage Preconstruction Managers through project feasibility, engineering, pricing, and construction handoff for solar PV and BESS infrastructure projects • Collaborate with business development and sales teams to influence pursuit strategy and align project delivery capabilities with client requirements • Oversee project-development risk management, including pricing, schedule, scope definition, contractual risk, and third-party engineer/consultant contracting and management • Partner with the Construction team to ensure seamless project handoffs • Drive continuous improvement in business processes, team performance, and financial outcomes • Lead procurement planning and oversight, including supplier qualification, strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, equipment procurement, subcontractor engagement, and supply chain risk management • Support project cost, schedule, and quality objectives

🎯 Requirements

• 7–10 years of management experience leading teams in renewable energy, specifically solar PV and battery energy storage • Proficiency in PV and energy storage engineering principles and tools, including AutoCAD and PVsyst • Proficiency in industry scheduling software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project • Strong knowledge of project costing models and estimating processes • Skill in creating and interpreting pro formas, budgets, and revenue forecasts • Proficiency in reading and negotiating customer contracts and subcontracts • Broad knowledge of major equipment supplier technology offerings and use cases for solar and BESS • Knowledge of pre-construction and costing processes • Team management experience in pre-construction preferred • Four-year college degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience required • Must satisfy stated employment eligibility requirements
