• Assist with or lead commercial refrigeration equipment installations • Uncrate, inspect, move, assemble, and position equipment • Test installed equipment and verify proper operation • Pick up and deliver equipment, materials, and parts to job locations • Use pallet jacks, forklifts, equipment-moving tools, hand tools, and power tools • Perform mechanical, electrical, plumbing, soldering, welding, and related installation work • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues during installation • Coordinate with customers, project managers, office employees, Service Technicians, and other team members • Maintain accurate job documentation, expense reports, and travel records • Follow company safety policies and job-site requirements • Complete ongoing safety, equipment, and technical training • Lead projects and train or mentor less-experienced employees when applicable • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred • Commercial refrigeration, HVAC/R, construction, installation, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, maintenance, warehouse, or delivery experience helpful but not required for all positions • Mechanically inclined with ability to learn new equipment and processes • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, soldering, welding, and/or hydraulic systems preferred • Ability to use or learn hand tools, power tools, pallet jacks, forklifts, and equipment-moving tools • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements • Ability to pass a DOT physical when required • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills • Ability to respond appropriately to unexpected job-site situations • Commercial refrigeration or HVAC/R installation experience may be required or preferred for certain positions • Experience installing supermarket refrigeration systems or commercial kitchen equipment • Construction leadership, project coordination, or crew-management experience • Forklift certification may be required or preferred for certain positions • Strong proficiency with hand and power tools • Advanced mechanical, electrical, plumbing, soldering, brazing, welding, or refrigeration knowledge • Regular out-of-town travel with overnight stays for approximately two to three consecutive nights per week • Ability to work evenings, overnight shifts, additional hours, and occasional Sunday travel as required • Ability to drive up to eight to ten hours per day occasionally • Ability to lift and move 50–75 pounds, with or without assistance • Ability to climb ladders up to eight feet and work on building rooftops • Ability to kneel, squat, bend, push, pull, stand, and move equipment throughout the workday • Ability to work safely in noisy, hot, cold, wet, or slippery conditions • Ability to work around mechanical and electrical equipment while following company safety guidelines
