📋 Description

• Design, build and launch new multi-product features and improve the overall quality of SmarterDx’s apps • Design, build and launch reusable frontend components that are fully featured, responsive, and accessible • Collaborate across disciplines to understand users and iterate on new ideas • Protect patients’ privacy and security through secure coding practices • Research and advocate for improved techniques, processes, and designs within the team • Support SmarterDx’s apps in production • Build user-facing clinical AI products deployed to hospital systems, including clinical notes capture, diagnosis refinement, and content generation • Work in a backend-leaning full-stack role with approximately 75% backend and 25% frontend responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• A desire to dive deep into a complex domain • 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on user-facing solutions • Expertise with Python, Typescript and React • Experience working with systems that leverage LLMs • Experience working with Postgres or a similar relational database • Experience owning web applications end-to-end, from requirements gathering through QA and delivery • Experience working with product managers to plan, build, and iterate on deliverables • Experience working in a security-conscious environment • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Nice to have: Experience at a scale-up, or rapid growth, technology company • Nice to have: Experience designing and building information-dense user interfaces • Nice to have: Experience in the health tech domain, particularly in clinical software • Nice to have: Experience working with Kubernetes
