📋 Description

• Drive country medical activities in alignment with regional initiatives and the Global Medical Plan • Manage medical scientific stakeholders and create value for patients through stakeholder engagement, medical and scientific projects, and scientific communications • Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, scientific experts, and other medical scientific stakeholders • Compile, analyse, prepare, and deliver medical, pharmaceutical, and scientific communications • Create and execute stakeholder engagement plans • Support the country Global Brand team in developing local medical tactics and provide insights to headquarters and regional plans • Organise and set up scientific advisory boards • Support local and regional medical and scientific activities • Provide medical and scientific input during Business Development Due Diligence activities • Deliver local medical insights and inputs to head-office-led medical programmes ahead of launches • Coordinate Investigator Sponsored Studies and support local studies • Coordinate medical information enquiries with the Medical Advisor/Senior Medical Advisor and headquarters in Stockholm • Attend local, regional, and global congresses and symposia as an ambassador for Sobi • Represent scientific interests in internal and external forums and engage with KOLs at hospitals and non-governmental organisations • Develop relationships with scientific societies and central decision makers • Provide medical guidance on medical matters, including legal and compliance considerations • Maintain current knowledge of the therapeutic area, emerging trends, evidence, and product developments

🎯 Requirements

• An accredited doctorate degree in a life-science or basic-science discipline (Pharm.D., D.Sc., D.N.P., Ph.D. or M.D./D.O.) • Candidates with an advanced health degree combined with extensive industry or clinical experience will also be considered • A minimum of 1 year of Medical Science Liaison (MSL) experience • Ability to understand, interpret and communicate scientific information effectively • Demonstrated success in building and managing internal and external stakeholder relationships and leading or influencing cross-functional teams within a matrixed environment • Strong track record of strategic thinking, problem-solving and sound decision-making • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities • Proven ability to initiate, develop and maintain meaningful relationships across the medical and scientific community • Collaborative mindset and ability to build positive, constructive relationships with cross-functional colleagues • High level of personal integrity, emotional intelligence and flexibility • Experience in relevant clinical practice is an advantage • Good understanding of the highly regulated biopharmaceutical environment • Basic understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape relevant to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry • Resume must be submitted in English
