📋 Description

• Gather field data, photos, as-built information, and installation details for warranty claim evaluations • Document design, manufacturing, and installation concerns and organize findings for senior engineering review • Compare field conditions with design documents, specifications, and installation standards to identify root causes • Maintain warranty documentation logs and support remediation planning • Support deployment of GPS-enabled pile driving, drone-based surveying, machine-control datasets, and other construction technologies • Prepare engineering datasets and assist with drone flights, data collection, and uploads • Develop and improve construction technology SOPs • Coordinate engineering information flow, drawing updates, clarifications, consultant responses, and RFIs • Maintain engineering document control systems, drawing sets, data rooms, exhibits, submittals, and version tracking • Participate in constructability reviews and owner/IE comment cycles • Monitor engineering deliverables and support mitigation of at-risk items • Coordinate pre-construction pile load testing, including drill-rig scheduling, logistics, and test setup • Document procedures, test sequences, field results, and pile test data • Conduct drawing comparisons, quantity checks, plan-set reviews, and project site visits • Identify and escalate engineering risks and contribute to SOP, workflow, database, and lessons-learned development • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, field engineers, consultants, and internal engineering teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Studies, or a closely related technical field (preferred) • 0–3 years of relevant experience • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred or willingness to pursue certification • Strong ability to read and interpret civil, structural, electrical, and geotechnical engineering drawings • Foundational understanding of construction processes and testing practices, such as pile load testing • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Ability to identify inconsistencies, collect supporting information, and escalate engineering concerns • Strong communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word • Ability or exposure to CAD, GIS, drone-capture platforms, GPS machine-control datasets, or similar tools preferred • Willingness to learn and support drone-based surveys, GPS-enabled equipment, and digital field data systems • Ability to conduct field work, walk construction sites, collect data, observe installation methods, and participate in testing activities • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future
