📋 Description

• Support users of the IBM Planning Analytics finance planning tool throughout annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting • Perform application administration and new user setup • Support reports created using Planning Analytics for Excel • Resolve ad-hoc user queries • Maintain system documentation and deliver end-user training • Partner with FP&A and technical teams to identify and implement IBM Planning Analytics system improvements • Collaborate with the development team on requirements gathering, test case preparation, unit testing, documentation, training, user handover, and system upgrades and enhancements • Project manage and deliver system upgrades and improvements based on change requests • Test code updates and roadmap changes • Understand data flows and identify opportunities to improve dependability, repeatability, and enterprise-tool integrations • Improve reporting and analysis processes by automating or simplifying self-service support • Identify process improvement opportunities that drive innovation • Perform other system-oriented duties as required by business needs

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of IBM Planning Analytics development experience (v2.0 or higher) • Strong understanding of finance principles and experience supporting financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes • Experience working with finance analysts • Ability to interact effectively with users at all levels of seniority and manage stakeholder expectations • Knowledge of server installation and system configuration • Knowledge of cube and application design • Knowledge of Planning Analytics TI and Chores • Knowledge of Rules and Feeders • Knowledge of Planning Analytics Security, including Element Security • Knowledge of MDX and SQL • Knowledge of Planning Analytics REST API, preferably through Cubewise Canvas • Hands-on experience with Python, TM1Py, HTML, and JavaScript • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel • Candidates invited to the interview stage must complete a technical assessment • Background check required at the offer stage
