📋 Description

• Provide high-quality academic intervention to Sophia learners in nutrition • Coach and mentor students with empathy while maintaining high academic standards • Develop written and video remediation resources • Analyze data to identify areas where students are struggling • Proactively contact struggling learners and recommend targeted resources • Tutor students individually and in groups • Respond quickly and thoroughly to student inquiries and assistance requests • Use varied teaching methods informed by current research and best practices • Manage part-time tutors as volume requires, ensuring consistent protocols and resource development

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of successful experience teaching adult and/or nontraditional students at the college level required • Masters level degree in discipline, professional certification in discipline specialty, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Proficient with technology; able to create video and written resources • Strong information technology skills, including Microsoft Office suite, online research, and data reporting tools • Outstanding oral and written communication skills • Ability to provide high-quality, clear, constructive, personalized feedback • Ability to manage competing priorities, remain organized, and meet deadlines • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States • Visa sponsorship is not available • Access to a remote work setting with privacy, reliable internet access, phone, computer, and video-conferencing capability • Ability to meet critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication requirements • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant • Able to access information using a computer
