📋 Description

• Manage and execute all privileging tasks related to the hospital privileging process for healthcare providers going to Sound Physicians programs • Request and facilitate complete and accurate privileging applications with required supporting documentation • Escalate red flags to Risk Management and appropriate Regional Leadership, Staffing Consultant, and Recruiting Consultant • Facilitate reappointment files, track monthly reappointment reports, and follow up to ensure providers are reappointed by their deadlines • Upload hospital correspondence and enter privilege dates into Salesforce when files are complete • Enter and maintain current privileging information in Salesforce • Communicate privileging updates during weekly regional staffing calls • Complete weekly update emails to regional teams with proactive updates on files in process using the color code system • Serve as the main privileging contact for internal and external customers • Partner with Privileging Coordinators and third-party agency contacts • Communicate updates to Chief Medical Officers, Regional Leadership, Staffing Consultants, locums company contacts, Recruiting, and other necessary parties via email, phone, and staffing calls • Create and maintain strong relationships with Sound Physicians clients

🎯 Requirements

• High School education or equivalent • Prior experience in the health services industry or prior experience in a similar administrative/project management role • Able to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given time • Able to keep track of multiple sources of data • Able to shift gears comfortably and handle ambiguity, risk, and uncertainty • Able to relay concise messages with relevant and necessary facts • Effective listening skills • Able to work successfully under tight deadlines • Able to act promptly, decisively, and without delay • Timely when sharing information with others • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers • Able to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers
