• Identifying and qualifying clinicians to support staffing goals • Onboarding and obtaining clinician’s availability to support site teams in preparing hospital schedules • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships while managing temporary labor costs • Active ownership in communications with temporary clinicians to fill schedule gaps • Liaising for temp labor orientations and clinical shifts to maintain staffing schedules • Attending local and regional calls to represent the Staffing Department professionally • Partnering with recruiters to identify new clinicians and maintaining relationships with active clinicians • Providing a consultative approach to removing barriers and finding solutions • Partnering with field operations to manage temporary labor costs • Forecasting, evaluating, and managing clinician roster and bench • Auditing staffing success and escalating concerns
• Associate’s Degree, or an equivalent combination work experience and education • 1 year experience in a Staffing Consultant position • Expert in the staffing consultant role • Scheduling and forecasting • Operating, policy and procedure • Effective presentation skills • Strong negotiation skills • Strong response times
