📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain pipelines and data models moving data from ConnectWise PSA, NetSuite, HubSpot, and other source systems into the data lake and SQL layer • Lead modernization of the Sourcepass BI platform, including architecture evaluation, migration planning, and retirement of legacy pipelines • Partner with the BI Manager and business leaders to translate reporting and analytics needs into data models, freshness targets, and quality checks • Monitor pipeline health and data quality, resolve data issues, and maintain the SQL layer as the authoritative source for front-end dashboards • Build and support back-end integrations, APIs, and data services for automation workflows and AI agents • Support data migration and system integration for acquired companies • Document data sources, models, and pipelines for team support and auditability • Work alongside the BI Manager, AI Engineer, and RPA Developers in the ROC

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, BI engineering, or back-end systems development • Strong SQL skills, including writing, optimizing, and validating queries against operational data • Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data models for a data warehouse or data lake • Experience integrating systems through REST APIs, including authentication, pagination, and error handling • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, PowerShell, or similar) • Ability to explain technical work clearly to both engineers and business stakeholders • Less than 10% travel • No on-call requirement • Preferred: experience in the MSP, IT services, or professional services industry • Preferred: familiarity with ConnectWise PSA, NetSuite, HubSpot, or similar business systems • Preferred: experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Power BI, or comparable platforms • Preferred: experience with Rewst or Power Automate • Preferred: exposure to AI and LLM-based solutions • Preferred: experience migrating data or consolidating systems after a merger or acquisition • Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, prioritization, adaptability, and attention to detail
