📋 Description

• Support Medicare Advantage Operations by providing scheduled and ad hoc reports • Collaborate with Claims, Membership, Medical Management, Sales & Marketing, Change Management, and the STARS team • Review, extract, and analyze data for procedures, processes, and requirements • Provide reports to identify problematic areas and support modification or elimination of operational issues • Assist with complex analysis and sophisticated data compilation, verification, and interpretation • Perform focused analyses as needed • Create data search programs to identify pertinent data for system or operational enhancements and changes • Document reporting procedures so staff can independently run ad hoc reports • Design, code, and maintain complex database programs for data extraction and analysis supporting financial and operational decisions • Run queries to pull data from DB2 relational databases on the host mainframe to generate reports for Medicare Advantage Operations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in a job related field • Associates degree plus an extra 2 years job-related experience for a total of 4 years of required work experience, or 6 total years required work experience • 2 Years Research and analysis experience • Strong organizational, customer service, communications, and analytical skills • Ability to use complex mathematical calculations • Advanced knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts • Knowledge of relevant computer support systems • Knowledge of programming languages across various software platforms, using DB2, SQL, and/or relational databases • Ability to analyze data results, determine the source of aberrant statistics, and resolve data issues • Microsoft Office • Knowledge of tools such as Visual Basic and Macros useful in automating reporting processes • This position is not eligible for sponsorship now or in the future • Preferred: 1 year of Medicare Advantage experience • Preferred: 1 year experience using IBM Query Management Facility mainframe software (QMF) or QMF for Workstation in Windows • Preferred: 2 years SQL or DB2 programming language experience
