📋 Description

• Operate and maintain in-place cybersecurity solutions and platforms • Review logs and reports from security tools, workstations, servers, and network devices • Investigate anomalous activity and assist with initial investigations of potential security events • Participate in the cybersecurity ticket queue rotation and on-call rotation • Maintain security solution configurations according to established baselines and security best practices • Participate in vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits • Provide on-call support for end users and security solutions • Monitor security solutions for efficient and appropriate operation • Research and evaluate emerging security tools, techniques, and technologies • Recommend and implement security solutions or enhancements • Participate in cybersecurity projects and department initiatives • Perform daily management of assigned security solutions • Serve on the incident response team and participate in incident response planning and testing • Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Associate Degree (or equivalent work experience) from a regionally accredited institution in Information Security, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a closely related field • Two (2) or more years of direct Cybersecurity experience, preferably as a cybersecurity engineer or similar role maintaining cybersecurity safeguards at a financial institution • Direct experience maintaining and operating current security platforms is preferred • One or more GIAC certifications, such as GSEC, GCIH, GMON, GCIA, GSOC, GCED, or GCDA, preferred • CompTIA certifications, such as Security+ or CySA+, preferred • Strong security mindset and understanding of financial sector regulatory requirements and security best practice • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to conduct research into security issues and products • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language • Highly self-motivated and directed • Keen attention to detail • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment • Must maintain a secure, private, distraction-free home office and reliable private internet connection not supplied by cellular data
