📋 Description

• Augment, deploy, troubleshoot, and repair hardware at Starlink point-of-presence colocation sites worldwide • Travel internationally and domestically to resolve hardware issues affecting Starlink user service and deploy new hardware • Diagnose failures within fiber optic circuits and execute repairs • Rack and stack router and server hardware at designated locations worldwide • Install servers and upgrade or replace server parts following MOPs • Investigate and resolve issues with onsite commercial network and routing hardware • Improve existing and create new training documentation • Coordinate shipment and logistics of equipment and parts to point-of-presence sites • Execute spare parts strategy to ensure availability and minimize downtime • Coordinate and perform data center site surveys for potential new point-of-presence sites • Perform wireless validation surveys for VIP events and global market access support

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate • 2+ years of experience troubleshooting hardware or IT equipment in the IT or telecom industry • Strong knowledge of MS Office, Visio, and web applications • Ability to read, understand, and follow MOPs • Experience with fiber optics network installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair • Experience using fiber optic test equipment (OTDR, OLS, OPM, VFL) • Experience constructing IT/network racks (UPS, PDUs, cable management, servers, network devices) • Experience installing, activating, or troubleshooting CWDM and/or DWDM using standard fiber equipment and testers • Ability to distinguish between different colors and possess manual dexterity for fine motor tasks • Ability to travel as required, approximately 75% of the time to US or international gateway sites • General physical fitness and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for some tasks • Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, twist the upper body, work in cramped positions, climb hand over hand, and work at elevated heights • Ability to work in extreme outdoor environments and environments with fumes, odors, and noise • U.S. citizenship/nationality, U.S. lawful permanent residency, refugee/asylee status, or eligibility to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations under ITAR
