📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute system-level test procedures in an Agile environment • Build, scale, and maintain test automation frameworks using Playwright and Cucumber for web applications and APIs • Design, develop, and execute complex automated software test plans • Analyze requirements and generate artifacts tables and test approaches for automated test script development • Review testing documentation, develop testing standards, define testing criteria, analyze test results, and present results • Develop and execute test scenarios, scripts, and procedures for unit, process, functional, system integration, and acceptance testing • Evaluate test bases and support requirements refinement for testability, clarity, and correctness • Create or maintain databases of known test defects • Conduct test design activities and create positive and negative test cases traceable to system requirements • Plan test schedules and strategies in accordance with project roadmaps and delivery dates • Participate in product design reviews and provide input on requirements, designs, schedules, and potential problems • Assist in creating software test plans covering strategy, approach, process, schedule, pass/fail criteria, test environment architecture, and test lab resources • Set up, configure, and maintain dedicated infrastructure servers and test environments • Deploy, manage, and configure automated test suites on staging servers or distributed grid nodes • Ensure stable headless execution and reliable artifact/report collection • Analyze risk identifiers and document software defect diagnostics and proposed solutions • Support test readiness reviews and formal system verification of requirements • Collaborate with software developers, engineers, business analysts, and requirements personnel on static analysis and dynamic testing • Use Atlassian tool suites including JIRA and Zephyr

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT related field • 7+ years professional test engineering experience • Must be able to obtain and maintain up to a Secret security clearance • United States Citizenship is required as part of the eligibility criteria to obtain the security clearance • Active Secret security clearance preferred • Experience developing software test plans, test cases, and test scripts • Automation testing experience • Experience with Selenium, MS Playwright, Cucumber, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or other automation testing frameworks/tools • Experience with LoadRunner and other manual testing tools • Proficiency designing and executing end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright paired with Cucumber • Expertise with Java and JavaScript with Selenium WebDriver in data-driven and/or behavior-driven frameworks • Experience with functional and regression testing procedures • Experience designing, writing, testing, and documenting efficient testing solutions • Experience with user interface acceptance testing, backend testing, and software testing • Experience with API testing using Postman and Rest-Assured or comparable tools • Experience provisioning, configuring, and maintaining Linux infrastructure servers or cloud instances for standalone test environments • Linux and Bash scripting experience is a plus • Experience with Java and JavaScript frameworks in HTML5/CSS3 contexts, including AngularJS, jQuery, and D3, is a plus • Knowledge of RESTful APIs/JSON and SQL • Strong understanding of networking, permissions, and server configurations • Experience working in a DevOps setting is preferred • Experience with continuous integration tools and platforms including Jenkins, Maven, Jira, Git, GitHub, GitBash, Stash, or Bitbucket • Knowledge of JMeter and LoadRunner is a bonus • Ability to assess software products for readiness and determine pass/fail criteria • Ability to determine test approaches, develop test schedules, and identify testing risks • Ability to capture test data, analyze test results, and communicate findings or deficiencies • Knowledge of quality assurance testing automation principles, practices, and procedures • Experience with all phases of the SDLC as applied to software testing • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage time in a dynamic environment • Team-player, quick learner, proactive, and positive attitude
