📋 Description

• Build performant, secure, tested web applications with a focus on automation and security • Design, enhance, and improve APIs between front-end and backend software services • Lead critical feature development across the entire development lifecycle • Incorporate user feedback, system requirements, design engineering, and evolving customer needs • Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain quality and enforce best practices • Translate design mockups into functional, visually appealing user interfaces • Use modern front-end frameworks and technologies including FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgREST, Svelte, React, CesiumJS, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and Kubernetes • Advocate for product quality, security, and performance improvements • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers • Work as an individual contributor and lead for more junior engineers • Help establish technical practices and maintain quality and consistency as the engineering organization scales

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of progressively responsible web development experience with modern software development approaches • Extensive experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and web frameworks such as React and Svelte • Knowledge of caching, authentication, and CSP • Deep understanding of open architecture constructs such as OMS, UCI, and OCI • Experience with containerized microservices architectures, Docker, and Kubernetes • Strong backend programming fundamentals and front-end/backend integration experience • Experience developing, testing, and deploying software within air-gapped or highly secure government network environments • Active Secret clearance • Eligibility to obtain and maintain TS/SCI access • Must be a US Citizen • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance and be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance • Must satisfy applicable U.S. Government export-control eligibility requirements
