Spinwheel targets banks, fintechs, and other developers building embedded finance experiences and debt-related workflows.

📋 Description

• Build and maintain unified reporting across CRM, accounting, invoicing, and operational databases • Replace manual exports with reliable, near-real-time data pipelines and refresh cadences • Define and document shared metric definitions such as MRR, activation, and churn • Partner with Data Engineering on pipelines feeding Redshift and MongoDB Atlas • Evaluate BI and analytics tooling, including potential migration from ThoughtSpot • Extend revenue reporting into shared dashboards with Finance • Surface collections and billing risk and support revenue reconciliation • Build cohort and retention analyses • Query MongoDB Atlas to create adoption, activation, and engagement dashboards • Track API and feature usage and connect usage patterns to retention and expansion • Measure the impact of product releases and features • Build customer health scores using usage, support activity, and sentiment • Flag renewal risk and expansion opportunities for Customer Success and Sales • Connect pipeline, funnel, and campaign data with business metrics • Support win/loss, attribution, and sales-cycle analysis • Own recurring business review reporting and support board reporting and OKR tracking • Translate cross-functional business questions into analysis • Build Claude-powered natural-language query agents • Create automated anomaly detection and Slack alerting • Use AI to draft business review summaries and reconcile cross-system mismatches • Mine call transcripts and support tickets for themes and risk signals • Package agents and workflows as reusable internal tools • Map systems of record and identify reporting gaps during the first 90 days • Deliver trusted product usage, customer health, and revenue reporting within six months

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data or business analytics, analytics engineering, or a similar cross-functional analytics role • Strong SQL • Hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse, ideally Redshift • Experience with a BI/visualization tool; ThoughtSpot, Looker, Tableau, Mode, Hex, or Power BI • Demonstrated use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to automate analysis, build agents, or accelerate reporting workflows • Experience building data models or a semantic layer used consistently by multiple teams • Experience connecting and reconciling data across CRM, billing/ERP, product analytics, and support/ticketing platforms such as Freshdesk • Excellent stakeholder skills and ability to work with Engineering, Data Engineering, Finance, Sales, CS, and Leadership • Hands-on experience querying NoSQL/document databases, ideally MongoDB and its aggregation framework (preferred) • Experience in fintech, SaaS, or usage/subscription-based business models (preferred) • Comfortable using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, with enough Python/SQL literacy to review, debug, and validate generated code (preferred) • Experience partnering with existing Finance and Revenue Operations analytics functions (preferred) • Experience evaluating, selecting, or migrating BI/analytics tooling (preferred)
