📋 Description

• Serve as a primary point of contact to investigate and determine patients’ financial responsibility for services rendered • Collect patients’ financial responsibilities prior to scheduled procedures • Confirm patient benefits, deductibles, co-insurance, and copays before procedures • Make outbound professional and facility calls to educate patients on financial responsibilities • Verify insurance eligibility before services are rendered • Attempt to collect and post patient responsibility prior to procedures • Maintain documentation of patient interactions in compliance with organizational standards • Maintain collection logs by practice for reconciliation • Collaborate with practices and Revenue Cycle leadership • Collaborate with Surgical Coordinators to support prior authorizations and review add-on procedures • Address revenue cycle correspondence, including email, faxes, written communications, and internal Practice Management communications • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent • Previous experience in healthcare financial services and/or revenue cycle preferred • Strong knowledge of insurance identification and processes, billing procedures, and healthcare regulations • Strong communication skills • Bilingual is a plus • Strong problem-solving skills • Proficiency with electronic health record systems • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
