📋 Description

• Configure SQL/Oracle products • Assist Support in resolving database issues • Research and integrate new SQL/Oracle products with Spok’s offerings • Migrate data from old applications to new environments • Load customer data into the Spok schema during implementations or upgrades • Develop and install customer data interfaces for the Spok SQL product • Troubleshoot customer data interfaces • Perform data cleanup, manipulation, removal, and review within the Spok product schema • Extract data for customer and internal reviews • Collaborate with customers to address database and data-related issues • Explain database functionality and coordinate database and data projects • Collaborate with different Spok departments to understand roles and performance requirements • Provide timely follow-ups to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction • Develop and maintain process, standards, and upgrade documentation • Prepare documentation for effective operational continuity • Support successful implementation of HL7-ADT patient feeds

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science and 2-4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience • 3+ years of SQL experience • Oracle experience is a plus • Customer service orientation • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations • Demonstrated leadership skills • Proactive problem-solving approach • Willingness to work outside normal hours, including early mornings and weekends • Strong knowledge of T-SQL and PL/SQL • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases • Good understanding of database design principles • Knowledge of SQL programming • Ability to write complex queries
