📋 Description

• Manage Spotlight’s on-site boutique at events • Set up and tear down pop-up retail locations • Maintain an organized, visually appealing, and well-stocked store • Accurately count, reconcile, and manage a cash drawer and report discrepancies • Meet city-specific sales goals through suggestive selling, multiple product sales, and upselling • Conduct post-event inventory to support restocking and maintain proper quantities • Operate the POS system for transactions, returns, and exchanges • Build lasting relationships with clients and customers • Provide knowledgeable, friendly service aligned with Spotlight’s customer experience standards • Understand and follow Spotlight Dance Cup procedures and guidelines to answer questions accurately • Assist with stage setup after boutique duties are complete • Support truck loading and unloading as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Prior customer service, retail, or boutique sales experience • Prior customer service or retail experience required • Merchandising knowledge helpful/preferred • Exposure to dance, theater, or live event environments preferred • Familiarity with dance or performing arts is a plus • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities • Ability to remain professional and positive in high-energy environments • Must reside within reasonable proximity to a U.S. international airport or hub • Willingness to travel frequently during the January–July event season • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and set up equipment • Comfortable sharing hotel accommodations with same-gender colleagues during event assignments • New/first-year event staff must attend an audition and training session in Eagle, Idaho • Ability to work early mornings or late evenings • Ability to work approximately 6–10 regional events annually and potentially 1–2 national events
