📋 Description

• Serve as the event’s public personality, presenting awards and conducting interviews • Create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for dancers, clients, and attendees • Deliver exceptional client relations and address questions or concerns • Oversee the judging panel and ensure fairness and adherence to competition rules and procedures • Prepare and review award reports for accuracy ahead of ceremonies • Support overall event flow and step in as needed to maintain efficiency and quality • Attend regional and potentially national events during the January–July event season

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience as a host, emcee, or presenter for live events (Preferred) • Outstanding public speaking and stage presence • Knowledge of competitive dance environments or performing arts is advantageous • Background in dance, theater, or related performing arts (Strongly Preferred) • Experience with competitive dance judging panels (Preferred) • Prior experience in working live events, production, or competitive dance environments (Preferred) • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments • Must reside within reasonable proximity to a U.S. international airport or hub • Ability to travel frequently during the event season (January–July) • Ability to attend approximately 6–10 regional events annually and potentially 1–2 national events • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and set up equipment • Comfortable sharing hotel accommodations with same-gender colleagues • New/first-year event staff must attend an audition and training session in Eagle, Idaho
