📋 Description
• Anchor accounting function during growth and transformation • Review and manage Right-of-Use assets and lease liabilities for compliance • Oversee PPE accounting, refine and enforce capitalization policies • Review complex transactions and ensure audit readiness • Partner with leadership to strengthen accrual methodologies • Establish and enforce reconciliation standards and review controls • Prepare detailed audit schedules for compliance with US GAAP • Actively participate in software migration and workflow design • Assess financial risk and implement improvements to internal controls
🎯 Requirements
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, Financial Auditor, or Assistant Controller with deep, hands-on expertise in US GAAP, specifically including ASC 842 and complex capitalization policies. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and required experience with QuickBooks Online. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. • CPA or CIA designation is highly preferred. • Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex financial data and apply high-level accounting judgment. • Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail. • Ability to work independently, manage shifting timelines, and thrive in a fully remote environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of educating staff on policies and presenting clear findings to external auditors and leadership.
