📋 Description

• Design and build scalable backend services that power member-provider matching, ranking, and precision care routing. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship high-impact systems that improve member experience, care access, and business performance. • Expand and maintain existing backend applications and infrastructure that operationalize machine learning and decisioning logic. • Debug and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. • Provide technical leadership in architectural discussions, code reviews, and system planning. • Uphold high engineering standards, including test coverage, documentation, and performance. • Participate in an on-call rotation to support system reliability and respond to production issues. • Collaborate flexibly across time zones, as needed, to support distributed teams and stakeholders. • Lead delivery of complex projects from conception to deployment • Mentor and guide engineers, fostering growth and best practices • Drive integration of observability, performance monitoring, and resiliency features • Partner with stakeholders to shape product strategy through technical input

🎯 Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in software development with a focus on backend development • Expertise in at least one of the following languages: Ruby on Rails, Java, C#, Python, or equivalent • Proven experience leading delivery of complex technical projects or 0–1 product development • Strong cross-functional collaboration and mentorship abilities • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Familiarity with observability and experimentation tools, such as Datadog, LaunchDarkly, Sentry, Mixpanel, Iterable • Experience architecting complex systems or microservices • Experience with containerization or cloud infrastructure tools, such as Docker or AWS • Fluency in SQL and modern data tooling (e.g., DBT, Snowflake) • Bonus: Experience with ML-powered product systems, recommendation/ranking systems, or experimentation-driven platforms
