📋 Description

• Provide pharmaceutical care to patients • Ensure accurate and timely preparation, storage, billing, labeling, and distribution of medications under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager • Provide medication counseling, monitoring, drug utilization review, and patient assessments • Ensure accurate labeling, packaging, compounding, billing, verification, and delivery of medications • Support the specialty pharmacy program and meet or exceed accreditation standards • Purchase, receive, store, and process inventory • Maintain accurate computerized medication profiles • Supervise and coordinate assigned pharmacy technicians preparing, labeling, and delivering medications and pharmaceutical supplies • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations for dispensing drugs and controlled drugs and maintaining required records • Support the organization’s vision, mission, values, Lean principles, and continuous improvement activities • Provide and maintain a safe environment for caregivers, patients, and guests • Conduct activities professionally and confidentially while supporting corporate integrity efforts • Deliver timely, efficient, accurate customer service and patient care • Perform additional duties of similar complexity as required or assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy • Current registration by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy • Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required to perform the job safely • Ability to stand and walk continually (75% or more) • Ability to carry 1–10 pounds continually • Ability to operate a motor vehicle for caregivers who are couriers • Ability to lift 1–10 pounds frequently and 11–25 pounds occasionally • Ability to push or pull 1–25 pounds frequently and 25–50 pounds rarely • Ability to grasp/squeeze frequently • Ability to sit, bend, climb stairs, stoop/kneel/crouch, reach overhead, and operate a keyboard as specified • Use of clear and audible speaking voice and ability to hear normal speech level • Preferred: PharmD • Preferred: Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY-1 residency training • Preferred: Any certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) • Preferred: Six (6) months or more retail pharmacy experience
