• Serve as the primary point of contact for employers within Absence and Disability Services • Support customer retention and facilitate stay-at-work (SAW) and return-to-work (RTW) programs • Oversee, develop, and implement comprehensive RTW/SAW plans for claimants • Ensure plans align with established protocols and best practices • Provide guidance to case managers and accommodation specialists on complex cases • Deliver orientation and education to employers, including process overviews and portal guidance • Manage escalated service issues • Maintain expertise in ADA, PWFA, and related compliance regulations • Recommend improvements to enhance program success and customer experience • Lead moderate projects and audits • Contribute to external publications
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or related field required • Minimum 4 years’ experience in return-to-work or vocational case management, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Professional certification (CRC, CDMS, ARM, CCM, or CPDM) required or ability to obtain within 2 years • Strong knowledge of ADA, PWFA, and accommodation-related compliance and regulations • Experience interpreting medical information to support case management activities • Ability to provide training, develop job aids, and support employer education • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI and bots preferred • Ability to work occasional travel (planning, team-building, conferences) is a requirement of the role • Criminal background investigation and employment, education, and licensing verification required as a condition of employment • All employees of The Standard must be bondable
