📋 Description

• Manage programming, planning and activation of complex projects • Ensure projects are in scope, on schedule, within budget, and meet program objectives and government regulations • Act as liaison between clients, operational leaders, consultants, contractors, vendors, regulatory agencies, project teams, customers, stakeholders and senior leadership • Conduct project intake, develop project teams, define objectives and scope, document processes, develop schedules, document risks and assumptions, and oversee workflows and implementation • Provide leadership and direction in client engagement, project development, strategic decision-making, scope and deliverables • Provide project leadership for large strategic and cross-functional improvement programs • Manage project design and structure for key departmental endeavors and projects • Direct and manage project managers and project/senior project coordinators • Mentor other project managers and project/senior project coordinators • Coordinate on project budget targets, status and issue resolution • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and balance internal and external interests • Drive change across physician groups while balancing clinical, academic and research interests • Coordinate and complete projects; track milestones, deadlines, responsibilities and progress • Deliver concurrent projects of various sizes to successful completion • Develop detailed project plans and complete required documentation • Define project scope, duration, resources, cost and approach • Conduct kick-off meetings and communicate project roles and expectations • Manage work plans, report project status, manage issues, identify risks and escalations • Coordinate post-project reviews and lessons-learned meetings • Manage timely project communications, including executive-level presentations • Prepare auditable project documents, cost estimates, reports and budgets for senior leadership • Track project budget targets and vendor relationships • Incorporate Lean practices • Assist in developing policies, guidelines and standards and represent the department on committees and professional organizations • Implement quality control measures for compliance with hospital, university, government, regulatory, OSHPD and Joint Commission requirements • Conduct project planning workshops to create charters, lock scope, identify deliverables, schedule and critical path

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university or applicable professional experience • 5 years of progressively responsible and related work experience required • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while meeting time sensitive deadlines • Ability to exercise judgment and demonstrate effectiveness in decision making occasions • Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents • Ability to write reports using original or innovative techniques or style • Ability to identify issues, risks, and escalations, assemble data, validate conclusions and incorporate resolutions • Strong knowledge of medical and non-medical equipment, organizational programs and procedures • Basic experience with business case preparation and cost benefit analysis • Expertise in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio) and Microsoft SharePoint • Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera and another PPM software tool • Demonstrated track record of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines • Strong interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills • Superior supervisory and matrix management skills • Advanced ability to identify, develop and quantify corrective action plans • Workshop design and facilitation experience • Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred • PMP - Project Management Professional preferred
