📋 Description
• Provide direct care and ADL support (meals, hygiene, daily routines) • Support community outings (parks, activities, recreational engagement) • Use behavioral support strategies and trauma-informed care • Build a consistent, trusting relationship • Encourage social skills, independence, and communication • Maintain structured routines and smooth transitions • Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging environment • Complete documentation and daily notes
🎯 Requirements
• Must be 18 years or older • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Current full coverage auto insurance (meeting state requirements) • Ability to pass a background check (not all records are disqualifying) • Experience with trauma-informed care / behavioral support • Preferred (not required): Experience as a DSP, caregiver, CNA, behavioral technician, or childcare provider • Experience supporting individuals with I/DD, autism, or mental health needs • CPR / First Aid certification
