πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Collaborate with the CDE team, Partners, and select client teams in implementing business development strategies and action plans β€’ Support cross-practice collaboration between Capital Markets and Banking and Credit and respective adjacent practices (e.g., Funds, M&A, Restructuring, Litigation and Regulatory) to amplify Firmwide relevance β€’ Identify, prioritize, and pursue high-potential client and sector opportunities across the financial ecosystem – including institutions, underwriters, and corporate issuers β€’ Support Partners and other firm administrative departments with presentation development, pitches and responses to RFPs for new business, and internal presentations and varied practice management duties β€’ Liaise with CDE team members and Partners to prepare and maintain up-to-date practice descriptions, capability statements, engagement lists, competitive intelligence and other business development materials β€’ Manage and oversee the development and writing of marketing materials; assist Partners with market research, copywriting, editing of materials β€’ Work with CDE team members to accurately maintain the Firm's engagement database and deals and case experience across all channels, as well as other operations and systems β€’ Manage and oversee practice and client events, independently or collaboratively, including strategically developing agendas and panels with partners, working with speakers and implementing/overseeing logistics β€’ Coordinate the development, maintenance and production of marketing brochures, experience lists, and other materials promoting the Firm’s practices and Partners both in print and on the Firm’s website β€’ Prepare or oversee preparation and management of directory submissions and survey responses for various legal and business directories and publications β€’ Collaborate with senior CDE team members and the Firm’s public relations resources to support public relations efforts including key corporate events, such as speaking engagements, business association networking, writing opportunities, and media events β€’ Direct management of junior BD team members; participate in onboarding and training of junior BD team members; project manage and review various workstreams; mentor and help to set goals and professional milestones β€’ Manage CDE projects and other Firm initiatives β€’ Perform other duties and projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Minimum 4-8 years of relevant experience managing teams and complex projects β€’ Experience cultivating and managing client relationships β€’ Creative and innovative thinker, generating ideas that create value and improve processes β€’ Proficient in MS Office Suite and web-based research β€’ Ability to interact well and build professional relationships while maintaining a high level of customer service, diplomacy and discretion β€’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills β€’ Excellent research and analytical abilities β€’ Ability to assess needs, assign priorities, develop strategies and make recommendations when presented with ambiguous or incomplete information β€’ Strong problem solving and analytical skills to make sound decisions, escalating as appropriate β€’ Demonstrated proficiency in project management and organizational skills β€’ Ability to collaborate across teams and effectively share knowledge and resources with appropriate parties, both internally and externally β€’ Ability to anticipate business challenges of Partners and Senior team members and proactively address needs with self-assuredness and business acumen β€’ Must be flexible and willing to work additional hours as needed
