📋 Description

• Test new features end to end across frontend, backend, APIs, and third-party integrations • Run regression testing before releases and smoke testing in production after each release • Validate business and technical requirements with Product and Engineering before development begins • Investigate defects using logs, API responses, and network traffic • Write clear, reproducible bug reports • Act as first-line support for Monetization, Finance, and Product Tech requests • Reproduce issues, assess severity, and escalate with factual information • Maintain test documentation in TestRail, Jira, and Confluence • Collaborate with the Automation QA team to determine which cases to automate • Own Platform functionality quality in a startup environment with short iterations and frequent releases • Identify root causes, communicate clearly, and help improve QA processes

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of manual QA of web applications, including frontend, backend, and API • Risk-based test design skills • API testing with Postman / Charles and Swagger / OpenAPI • Root cause investigation using Chrome DevTools, including HAR, network, storage, and logs • Hands-on experience with feature, regression, and production smoke testing throughout the full release cycle • Daily use of AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar, with critical review of outputs • Experience in a product company or startup with frequent releases • Written English sufficient for documentation and bug reports • Ownership and transparent communication; ability to flag risks and delays early • Nice to have: payments and subscriptions testing, including Chargebee, Adapty, Payrails, trials, taxes, Apple Pay, and Google Pay • Nice to have: web funnels and A/B experiments • Nice to have: analytics event validation with Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and GTM dataLayer • Nice to have: Datadog / Grafana • Nice to have: testing AI-powered features • Nice to have: basic Playwright / TypeScript
