📋 Description

• Carry a clinical and skills lab teaching load of approximately two days per week at clinical and/or simulation lab sites • Model excellent clinical instruction • Transition to backup clinical instructor coverage as the team grows • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop clinical instructors • Serve as first point of contact for clinical faculty questions, issues, and escalations • Experiment with AI tools and documentation systems to improve instructor onboarding and support • Build and maintain relationships with clinical site partners • Secure new clinical partners as programs grow • Liaise between clinical instructors and site staff and resolve issues • Conduct site visits and assess acuity, patient populations, and learning opportunities • Maintain knowledge of clinical site policies and procedures • Manage onboarding logistics for instructors at each site • Manage clinical site assignments and rotation scheduling across cohorts • Maintain a master schedule of student placements, faculty assignments, and unit locations • Confirm clinical-day coverage and secure substitutes when needed • Arrange student computer access, badging, and agency orientation • Maintain agency availability records and adjust schedules • Keep the Program Director and Dean of Nursing informed of clinical changes and updates • Maintain clinical paperwork, compliance records, evaluations, and Board of Nursing documentation • Track instructor credentialing, health requirements, and site-specific clearances • Manage electronic clinical requirement tracking and communicate expired records • Collaborate on clinical agency evaluations for quality improvement and accreditation • Ensure clinical records remain audit-ready for Board of Nursing and accreditation review • Report to the Dean of Nursing and connect clinical instructors, site partners, and academic leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted compact (multistate) RN license, or eligibility to obtain one • Master’s degree in nursing (required for accreditation purposes) • 2+ years teaching clinicals in a nursing education program • Experience training, onboarding, or mentoring clinical instructors or preceptors • Current BLS/CPR certification at healthcare provider level • Ability to meet clinical site health and immunization requirements, including required vaccinations and background screening • Willingness to travel up to 50% • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing schedules, documentation, and logistics across multiple sites • Relationship-oriented approach with site staff, instructors, and students • Ability to work in the United States / satisfy applicable employment authorization requirements
