📋 Description

• Execute and continuously improve Stord’s health, safety, security, compliance, and loss prevention program across a defined region of fulfillment and warehouse facilities • Translate enterprise standards into consistent site-level execution across regional facilities • Hire, onboard, develop, and direct site-level safety and loss prevention professionals • Set performance expectations, coach team members, provide feedback, and develop succession plans • Facilitate regional meetings, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving • Conduct or oversee facility safety audits, gap assessments, corrective action tracking, and incident investigations • Support site leaders and operations teams in embedding safety into daily standard work and leadership routines • Represent the region in enterprise safety forums and report trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to the Head of HSS • Coordinate peak readiness reviews and new site launch HSS readiness • Own regional loss prevention strategy, shrink reduction targets, security controls, and investigative outcomes • Oversee investigations involving theft, fraud, and inventory discrepancies, escalating to HR, Legal, or law enforcement as appropriate • Analyze loss trends and drive root-cause resolution through operational and procedural improvements • Manage CCTV, access control, physical security standards, and inventory protection protocols • Build relationships with carrier partners, vendors, and law enforcement contacts • Partner with Operations and Finance to quantify and report shrink, damage, and loss impact • Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and local regulations • Serve as regional contact for regulatory inspections and coordinate corrective actions • Monitor regulatory changes and update procedures with the Head of HSS • Oversee Hazmat compliance, including storage, labeling, training, and incident reporting • Support readiness for customer-required certifications such as GMP, GDP, CTPAT, or TAPA • Own regional safety and loss prevention KPIs and deliver regular reporting to the Head of HSS and regional operations leadership • Drive trend analysis, manage corrective action pipelines, and champion near-miss and hazard reporting • Partner with Ops Excellence to integrate improvements into standard operating procedures • Support automation and equipment commissioning from a safety perspective • Ensure staffing and program coverage scale with regional network growth

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in health and safety, loss prevention, or operations compliance • 3+ years of direct people management experience, with a track record of hiring and developing high-performing teams • Multi-site experience in 3PL, eCommerce fulfillment, distribution, or manufacturing environments • Demonstrated experience in loss prevention investigation, shrink management, or asset protection in a high-volume logistics or retail environment • Working knowledge of OSHA standards, state-specific safety regulations, and compliance program management • Hands-on experience managing physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, and inventory protection protocols • Familiarity with incident investigation methodologies and corrective action systems • Comfort with Hazmat regulations and controlled substance handling requirements in a warehouse or fulfillment context • Experience using safety and loss prevention data to drive operational decisions • Ability to be based out of Atlanta or Charlotte, North Carolina • Ability to travel 40–50% • ASP, CSP, or equivalent safety certification, or active pursuit of one (preferred) • Wicklander-Zulawski (WZ), Reid Technique, or equivalent interviewing certification (preferred) • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement background (a plus) • Familiarity with CTPAT, TAPA, or SOC-related security requirements (a plus) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to translate metrics into clear narratives and actionable plans • Ability to triage competing priorities, escalate appropriately, and keep the team focused under pressure
