📋 Description

• Act as incident lead for major cybersecurity incidents, establishing severity, objectives, workstreams, decision rights, communication cadence, and escalation paths • Direct end-to-end response through validation, scoping, containment, eradication, recovery, and closure • Maintain records of timelines, decisions, actions, and owners • Coordinate security, infrastructure, cloud, identity, network, application, vendor, and business teams • Restore affected services safely and validate operational stability and residual risk • Provide situation reports and decision recommendations to executives and stakeholders • Partner with Legal, Privacy, Risk, Communications, Human Resources, Business Continuity, and customer-facing teams on regulatory, contractual, insurance, notification, and crisis communication obligations • Establish processes, enhance tooling, and define operational standards for incident handling at scale • Improve incident response frameworks, major-incident plans, escalation criteria, call trees, and response and recovery playbooks • Design and facilitate tabletop exercises and simulations • Perform incident readiness activities and support additional cybersecurity initiatives • Provide expert guidance and mentor responders, analysts, and technical stakeholders • Lead post-incident reviews, track corrective actions, and apply lessons learned to controls, architecture, detections, response capability, and operational resilience

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in incident management, including leading high-severity cybersecurity incidents in complex, global, or distributed environments • Experience building or significantly shaping an incident response program • Ability to operate independently and make sound decisions under pressure • Experience with cross-functional collaboration across technology, product, security, legal, communications, and executive leadership • Experience with cloud infrastructure incidents and distributed systems, monitoring tools, and logs • Experience using incident metrics, queries, and trend analysis • Excellent written and verbal communication skills under pressure • Strong process-design and documentation skills, including process mapping, runbook development, and workflow design • Coaching, facilitation, and change-enablement skills • Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-61, the SANS incident response lifecycle, and MITRE ATT&CK • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience • Current and future work authorization in the country where applying without visa sponsorship by Strada
