📋 Description

• Provide high-quality instruction using a pre-designed curriculum • Mentor doctoral learners and participate in doctoral committees • Provide relevant feedback to support successful completion • Respond within 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays, by phone, email, and in the courseroom • Travel within the US to participate in doctoral residencies • Use the online learning platform to enrich the learning experience • Establish evaluation standards and ensure learners understand how they will be evaluated • Adhere to University policies and procedures • Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and training as required • Participate in other activities based on university needs

🎯 Requirements

• Willing and able to travel to and teach at residencies 3–4 times per year, with each residency lasting 4–12 days; selected candidates participate in at least half • Demonstrated knowledge of academic evaluation • Effective communication with all levels of the University • Proficiency in oral presentation skills, planning, and organizing course objectives • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Demonstrated knowledge of academic technology • Strong computer skills • Ability to manage potentially stressful situations professionally and ethically • Three years of teaching experience preferred • Professional experience in the discipline: minimum of two years required for undergraduate level and three years required for graduate level • Research, scholarship, or achievement in the discipline required for graduate-level teaching • Doctoral-level experience conducting and overseeing research in the discipline required • All degrees must be conferred and from a regionally accredited institution • PhD in Psychology or related field • Current psychology license required • Ability to travel occasionally within the US as business needs arise • Access to a computer, private workspace, reliable internet, phone, and video conferencing at a remote location • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States • Visa sponsorship is not available • Ability to meet critical-thinking and problem-solving requirements and communicate effectively with co-workers • Ability to access information using a computer • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant
