• Lead sourcing and procurement initiatives across a broad range of goods and services from business requirements through supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and implementation • Develop sourcing strategies based on business requirements, supplier markets, spend, competitive dynamics, incumbent performance, and value-creation opportunities • Lead RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, bid analysis, and negotiations • Negotiate supplier pricing, fee structures, service levels, renewal terms, price protections, termination rights, and other commercial provisions • Evaluate supplier proposals and contract economics using quantitative and qualitative analysis • Develop recommendations and business cases for supplier and purchasing decisions • Partner with Legal and business stakeholders during contract negotiations • Manage supplier renewals and identify cost-reduction, consolidation, service-adjustment, and market-testing opportunities • Build productive supplier relationships while maintaining commercial accountability • Improve purchasing processes, reduce unnecessary spend, and increase procurement effectiveness • Support purchase orders, contracting processes, procurement systems, policies, and controls • Analyze procurement and spend data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks • Present financial analyses, sourcing recommendations, supplier comparisons, and procurement updates to leadership • Manage multiple sourcing, contracting, and supplier initiatives simultaneously • Coordinate day-to-day administration of the corporate insurance program • Coordinate annual insurance renewals and prepare renewal decision materials • Maintain records of policies, coverage limits, premiums, deductibles, renewals, certificates, and related documentation • Coordinate certificates of insurance and evidence-of-coverage requests • Evaluate contractual insurance requirements and identify potential coverage gaps • Assist with claims administration and stakeholder communication • Review insurance program costs and alternatives • Serve as an internal point of contact for routine insurance questions • Develop and improve procurement policies, procedures, templates, reporting, and operating practices • Build relationships across Finance, Legal, IT, Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, and other functions • Advise business partners on assumptions, alternatives, and commercially sound decisions • Stay current on procurement, supplier-market, commercial, insurance, and risk-management developments • Lead or support special projects and cross-functional initiatives
• 5+ years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, or related commercial experience • Demonstrated experience independently leading complex supplier negotiations and sourcing initiatives • Broad procurement experience across multiple spend categories, supplier types, and business functions • Ability to independently manage the full procurement lifecycle • Strong sourcing and negotiation capability with demonstrated measurable commercial outcomes • Strong commercial judgment • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to influence stakeholders and establish credibility with senior business leaders • Strong project-management and organizational skills • Experience with procurement, contract lifecycle management, ERP, and related business systems • Experience with Coupa or similar source-to-pay platforms is preferred • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel • Proficiency with PowerPoint and other standard business applications • Corporate insurance, risk-management, or insurance-broker coordination experience is preferred but not required • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience • Ability to travel occasionally as business needs arise • Ability to meet critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication requirements • Ability to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant • Ability to access information using a computer
