📋 Description

• Lead sourcing and procurement initiatives across a broad range of goods and services • Develop sourcing strategies based on business requirements, supplier markets, spend, competitive dynamics, incumbent performance, and value opportunities • Lead RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, bid analyses, and supplier negotiations • Negotiate supplier commercial terms, pricing, service levels, renewals, price protections, and termination rights • Evaluate supplier proposals and contract economics using quantitative and qualitative analysis • Develop recommendations and business cases for supplier and purchasing decisions • Partner with Legal and business stakeholders during contract negotiations • Manage supplier renewals and identify cost, commercial, consolidation, service, and market-testing opportunities • Build supplier relationships and maintain commercial accountability • Improve the supplier landscape, purchasing processes, spend management, and procurement effectiveness • Support purchase orders, contracting processes, procurement systems, policies, and controls • Analyze procurement and spend data • Present financial analyses, sourcing recommendations, supplier comparisons, and procurement updates to leadership • Manage multiple sourcing, contracting, and supplier initiatives simultaneously • Coordinate administration of the corporate insurance program with Finance, brokers, carriers, Legal, and internal stakeholders • Coordinate annual insurance renewals and validate exposure data, applications, coverage, and pricing proposals • Maintain records of policies, coverage, premiums, deductibles, renewals, certificates, and documentation • Coordinate certificates of insurance and evidence-of-coverage requests • Evaluate contractual insurance requirements and potential coverage gaps • Assist with claims administration and communication • Review insurance costs and alternatives • Serve as an internal contact for routine insurance questions and escalate complex matters • Develop and improve procurement policies, procedures, templates, reporting, and operating practices • Build relationships across Finance, Legal, IT, Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, and other functions • Advise business partners on assumptions, alternatives, and commercially sound decisions • Stay current on procurement, supplier markets, commercial trends, technology, insurance, and risk management • Lead or support special projects and cross-functional initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, or related commercial experience • Demonstrated experience independently leading complex supplier negotiations and sourcing initiatives • Experience across multiple indirect spend categories strongly preferred • Experience partnering directly with Finance, Legal, and senior business stakeholders • Strong sourcing and negotiation capability with demonstrated measurable commercial outcomes • Broad procurement experience across multiple spend categories, supplier types, and business functions • Ability to independently manage the full procurement lifecycle • Strong commercial judgment • Strong analytical and quantitative skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to influence stakeholders and establish credibility with senior business leaders • Strong project-management and organizational skills • Comfortable working in procurement, contract lifecycle management, ERP, and related business systems • Experience with Coupa or similar source-to-pay platforms preferred • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel • Proficiency with PowerPoint and other standard business applications • Corporate insurance, risk-management, or insurance-broker coordination experience preferred but not required • Experience in a decentralized or complex organization is a plus • Prior people-management experience preferred but not required • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience • Must be able to travel occasionally if business needs arise • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant • Able to access information using a computer • Must be able to meet critical thinking and problem-solving aspects aligned to job duties and communicate effectively with co-workers
