• Define and execute the growth strategy for apparel within the platform • Own category-level performance across supply, engagement, and revenue • Establish quarterly goals, leading indicators, and operating rhythms • Maintain deep, current knowledge of apparel culture, including sellers, creators, designers, brands, retailers, sub-segments, seasonal drops, collaborations, cultural moments, pricing dynamics, liquidity, and resale economics • Serve as the internal voice of the apparel community, informing product, marketing, and platform decisions • Build and own a pipeline of high-impact apparel sellers, shops, designers, influencers, brands, and creators • Recruit and onboard flagship sellers • Develop seller strategies balancing credibility, storytelling, and commerce • Identify and orchestrate Fashion and Apparel moments, campaigns, and formats driving engagement and conversion • Partner with Category Marketing on culturally authentic activations • Experiment with new approaches and iterate based on performance and feedback • Work with Account and Partnerships Managers to scale seller acquisition and support • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape relevant features and tools • Provide market insights to influence roadmap prioritization • Document learnings, frameworks, and best practices for future categories • Help define category ownership standards at StockX • Support hiring and onboarding as the apparel category team grows
• Deeply embedded in second-hand fashion and apparel culture, with knowledge of the people, platforms, trends, and economics • 5+ years of experience in category management, partnerships, marketplace growth, brand, or operator roles in apparel, streetwear, fashion, or adjacent ecosystems • Comfortable owning outcomes, executing, iterating, and adapting • Strong relationship-building credibility among sellers, creators, designers, and community members • Data-literate and commercially minded, understanding pricing, margins, liquidity, and incentives • Entrepreneurial and scrappy, energized by building from the ground up • Existing network of apparel resellers, brand operators, designers, boutiques, or creators (nice to have) • Experience buying and selling apparel or operating within resale or fashion marketplaces (nice to have) • Familiarity with content-driven commerce, creator platforms, or enthusiast communities (nice to have) • Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams (nice to have) • Experience running your own business or startup (nice to have)
