• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for key products and services • Lead competitive RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes • Develop RFP documents, specifications, supplier requirements, and evaluation methodologies • Identify and qualify potential suppliers • Conduct supplier market research and benchmarking • Develop category-specific sourcing strategies and identify supplier-consolidation opportunities • Manage the complete sourcing process from business requirements and spend analysis through supplier implementation • Lead supplier pricing and commercial negotiations • Negotiate pricing, rebates, freight, payment terms, service levels, implementation costs, and other commercial terms • Prepare financial models identifying value and risk of supplier proposals • Partner with leadership and Legal on contract negotiations • Maintain visibility into supplier agreements, renewals, expiration dates, and termination requirements • Ensure negotiated pricing and commercial terms are implemented correctly • Identify contracts requiring renegotiation or competitive sourcing • Support contract assignment and supplier transition activities associated with acquisitions • Establish supplier business reviews, scorecards, and corrective-action plans • Develop strategic relationships with critical suppliers • Develop alternative and secondary sources for critical products • Identify supply continuity risks and develop contingency and secondary sourcing strategies • Evaluate supplier financial, geographic, operational, and concentration risks • Partner with Operations on business continuity strategies • Monitor industry and supplier developments affecting pricing or availability • Develop sourcing business cases, financial analyses, savings targets, and total-cost-of-ownership models • Track realized versus projected savings and partner with Finance to validate material savings • Analyze supplier price increases and develop mitigation strategies • Operate independently as a senior procurement resource and collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Legal, IT, Fleet, and executive leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or related discipline • 5–8 years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain experience • Demonstrated experience independently developing and managing RFPs • Demonstrated supplier negotiation experience • Experience evaluating supplier contracts and commercial terms • Experience conducting financial and total-cost-of-ownership analysis • Experience developing RFPs within Jaggaer Advanced Sourcing Optimizer • Ability to independently manage complex sourcing initiatives from opportunity identification through contract execution and supplier implementation • Preferred: Healthcare, medical device, DME/HME, distribution, or manufacturing experience • Preferred: Multi-location procurement experience • Preferred: Experience sourcing medical equipment or supplies • Preferred: Experience working with enterprise ERP or purchasing systems • Preferred: Experience working with cross-functional executive stakeholders
