📋 Description

• Lead and support high-quality site-based learning experiences across healthcare programs at Strayer and Capella Universities • Oversee site-based learning and practice education teams, including data collection, quality improvement, governance, and operations • Review program, site-based learning outcomes, and learner experience data to identify improvement opportunities • Analyze accreditation and school analytics reports, summarize findings and recommendations, and track implemented changes • Oversee learner site vetting, approvals, administration, and complex affiliation requests • Ensure site-based learning processes support accreditation mandates and standards • Serve as liaison with internal cross-functional partners • Resolve complex placement, site, and administrative issues • Oversee communications and change management with preceptors, site supervisors, and students • Oversee site-based learning orientations and training • Contribute to specialized accreditation processes, learner manuals, standards, and outcomes assessments • Conduct audits of site-based learning processes for continuous quality improvement and learner success • Collaborate with deans, assistant/associate deans, program/faculty directors, university departments, Portfolio, and academic leaders • Coach and support team members in clinical placement best practices and problem-solving • Foster clinical site partnerships supporting learner success and organizational goals

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in higher education, healthcare education, clinical education, practice education, clinical placement operations, or a related field • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in academic, clinical, workforce development, or healthcare settings • Experience collaborating with healthcare organizations, clinical sites, faculty, preceptors, and other stakeholders • Ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization and lead initiatives across multiple teams, functions, and external partners • Knowledge of clinical placement processes, affiliation agreements, compliance requirements, clinical education technologies, and site partner expectations preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to travel as required/needed • MSN from an accredited Nursing program, required • Earned doctorate from a regionally accredited institution in Nursing or closely related fields, required • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license, preferably a compact state license • For APRN: active, Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner License • For APRN: must maintain clinical practice as defined by state licensure, AANP and/or ANCC • All degrees must be conferred from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States • Visa sponsorship is not available • Required access to a suitable remote work setting • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant • Must be able to access information using a computer • Must meet critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication requirements
