📋 Description

• Serve as the bridge from strategy to execution for multiple strategic programs and initiatives across the Transformation team • Lead assigned special projects and complex programs involving partners across the USHE and SEI enterprise • Build business cases, define solutions, and gather proposal-level estimates with program leadership and business/project owners • Orchestrate project and workstream tasks, timelines, and interdependencies • Secure resources and support from other departments • Assist with issue identification and escalation processes • Prepare and facilitate project/program meetings, leadership alignment meetings, and process-improvement discussions • Maintain roadmaps and oversee critical milestones, progress, and prioritization • Identify issues that could affect successful execution • Ensure delivered components meet overall initiative expectations • Drive partner-team decision-making using facts, capacity constraints, and prioritization exercises • Lead and direct work through influence • Identify root causes of problems, issues, and roadblocks through probing questions • Prepare and deliver presentations to build strategic alignment, gain buy-in, or request approval • Establish and execute program communications for leadership, stakeholders, and project teams

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8 years of project leadership experience managing complex projects • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university • Intellectual curiosity and ability to contribute strategically and tactically • Adaptability to changing business needs • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to organize time and detailed information across multiple projects • Proficiency with MS Office applications • Detail-, data-, and process-driven approach • Ability to anticipate roadblocks, diagnose problems, and generate effective solutions • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Experience working cross-functionally and across organizational levels • Ability to manage direct conversations non-confrontationally • Must be able to travel occasionally when business needs arise • Ability to work onsite in a corporate or campus location if required by the role • If offsite or hybrid, access to a suitable remote work setting with privacy, reliable internet, phone, and video-conferencing capability • Ability to meet critical-thinking and problem-solving aspects of the role and communicate effectively with coworkers • Ability to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant • Ability to access information using a computer
