📋 Description

• Design end-to-end workflows across discovery, recommendation review, approval, execution, verification, reporting, and continuous optimization for Stratusphere • Translate technical and financial information into clear, decision-ready experiences • Help users understand recommendations, rationale, risks, next steps, system status, assumptions, human control, auditability, and rollback readiness • Partner with customers and internal teams on interviews, usability testing, prototypes, analytics, and field feedback • Define trustworthy AI and automation experiences for agent-generated findings, plans, explanations, and actions • Develop and maintain reusable interaction patterns, components, information architecture, and design-system foundations • Collaborate with engineers from concept through launch • Use AI coding tools such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools for prototypes, front-end refinements, design-system updates, and scoped product improvements • Measure post-launch outcomes and improve critical workflows, confidence, adoption, approval velocity, time to value, and verified savings • Help establish and evolve StratusGrid’s design practice and ways of working

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing multi-step workflows for technical, operational, infrastructure, finance, security, developer, or enterprise users • Strong workflow and systems thinking, including role-based experiences, approvals, exceptions, dependencies, and operational handoffs • Ability to conduct or contribute to interviews, usability tests, journey mapping, prototype reviews, and other discovery activities • Strong interaction design and information architecture skills • Ability to produce polished flows, prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs • Technical curiosity and ability to learn technical domains quickly • Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to implement or refine well-scoped product experiences • Clear communication, design rationale, progress and risk communication, and ownership through launch and iteration • Willingness and ability to travel periodically for customer engagements, team planning sessions, or onsite collaboration • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a professional, distraction-limited workspace • Ability to work effectively and independently in a distributed team • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire • Position does not offer visa sponsorship • Preferred differentiators include cloud infrastructure, FinOps, DevOps, security, observability, data platforms, automation, AI-assisted or agentic products, enterprise approvals, auditability, role-based access, governance, change-management workflows, early-stage SaaS, product analytics, React, TypeScript, GitHub, component libraries, accessibility standards, and production design systems
