📋 Description

• Support instructional faculty by interacting with students in large online classrooms • Create and implement communication and supplemental instruction methods to support student success • Analyze student activity in discussions and assessments and respond based on training and lead-instructor input • Assist in managing student communications • Escalate unique issues to the lead instructor • Assist with grading and provide feedback • Monitor student engagement and recommend approaches to increase engagement • Provide tutoring, live sessions, and other student support as directed • Assist with student outreach • Help develop supplemental support documents, videos, and job aids • Perform other duties as assigned • Work 25 hours per week supporting an online undergraduate Accounting class

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact effectively with faculty, coaches, and learners • Demonstrated effective time management skills • Excellent relationship-building, customer service, and problem resolution skills • Demonstrated strong attention to detail, initiative and follow-through • Experience working with a diversity of learning styles • Comfortable using technology to facilitate learning • Previous teaching experience required • 5 years of professional experience in accounting preferred • Online teaching experience preferred • Master's degree in Accounting from a regionally accredited institution required OR Master's degree in Business Administration with an Accounting concentration or coursework in Intermediate I and II from a regionally accredited institution required • CPA license preferred (active or inactive) • Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available • Access information using a computer • Effectively communicate, both up and down the management chain • Effectively cope with stressful situations • Good attendance • Strong organizational and time management skills • Strong mental acuity • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
