📋 Description

• Teach online courses in undergraduate BS Business and graduate MBA and MSHRM programs • Provide learner mentoring, support, guidance, and personalized academic assistance • Ensure quality educational experiences aligned with course outcomes, HLC standards, and applicable accreditation standards • Use course data and feedback to improve teaching performance and learner experience • Contribute to course and curriculum design, development, assessment, and continuous improvement • Develop course plans, objectives, outcomes, teaching aids, competency-based assessments, and authentic assessment tools • Participate in school and university governance through committees and faculty meetings • Serve as faculty leaders, peer mentors, subject matter experts, and contributors to accreditation efforts • Contribute professional knowledge through service to learners, the institution, the profession, and the community • Maintain scholarly expertise through research, writing, presentations, conferences, and professional development • Take on specialized assignments such as learner support, program development, assessment, faculty mentoring, webinars, course revisions, and employer partnerships • Participate in commencement, residencies, faculty development, problem resolution, and faculty orientation/mentoring as needed • Potentially mentor doctoral learners and chair or serve on dissertation or doctoral capstone committees • Report to the Academic Program Director

🎯 Requirements

• Three or more years teaching in an online setting is required • Experience teaching in higher education is required • Experience writing curriculum is required • An earned PhD in any business-related field or a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is required • All degrees must be conferred and from a regionally accredited institution • Copies of required certificates and licenses and unofficial transcripts for all graduate degrees must be attached • Must be able to travel occasionally, generally 5–10%, for university events • Must have access to a remote work setting with privacy, reliable internet access, phone, and video conferencing capability • Must be able to meet critical thinking and problem-solving aspects aligned to job duties • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant • Able to access information using a computer • Experience supporting accreditation, program review, curriculum assessment, or continuous-improvement activities in higher education is preferred • Membership/affiliation in a professional organization is preferred • Demonstrated commitment to professional service and practice is preferred • Experience with leadership through team engagement is preferred • Evidence of supporting learner success and quality teaching outcomes is preferred • Experience presenting at professional conferences is preferred • Experience with scholarly writing and academic citation and formatting standards is preferred
