📋 Description

• Direct and coordinate educational, administrative, and counseling activities for high school students • Ensure educational programs conform to state and local school board standards • Research and implement non-K12 curriculum resources meeting state standards as needed • Articulate the school’s mission and vision and promote stakeholder cooperation • Use communication technologies to support a predominantly virtual/remote work environment • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding special education and categorical programs • Address student attendance and engagement compliance with students, families, courts, and local districts • Develop and oversee implementation of the Student Achievement Improvement Plan • Supervise and evaluate teaching staff • Manage teacher performance and provide professional development training • Manage Master and Lead Teachers and programs • Confer with teachers, students, and parents regarding educational and behavioral problems • Coordinate with teachers and K12 Enrollment regarding expulsions and withdrawals • Directly supervise 15–30 FTE regular employees and/or contractors • Interview, hire, train, assign, direct, evaluate, reward, and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems

🎯 Requirements

• Florida 5 Year Professional Educational Leadership Certificate • Florida residency required • Previous supervisory experience • Master’s degree and five (5) years of educational experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to clear required background check • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio • Web proficiency • Ability to travel 20% of the time for meetings, professional development, etc.
