📋 Description

• Provide direct, engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students daily • Provide targeted, personalized feedback using a variety of techniques • Differentiate instruction based on student level of mastery • Review student progress and grade submitted assignments in the learning management system • Create a welcoming class environment • Analyze student data and identify actions to improve student achievement • Adhere to state- and client-specific policies, procedures, and deadlines • Support in-class facilitators with classroom management, curricular and instructional issues, and basic troubleshooting in a virtual classroom • Attend monthly data analysis meetings and use student data to drive instructional decisions • Create and/or augment course content using asynchronous and synchronous tools • Establish positive rapport with families and communicate proactively with stakeholders • Obtain additional state certifications as requested and maintain active certifications • Work on additional projects as needed • Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • Active state teaching license • Florida Department of Education Elementary School Florida 5-Year Professional Educator's Certificate required • Bilingual (English/Spanish) • Ability to clear required background check • Ability to complete training within two weeks • Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week • Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during the workday • Receptive to regular coaching from administrators and teacher trainers • Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms • Experience working with the proposed age group preferred • Experience supporting adults and children in using technology desired • Experience teaching in a synchronous environment such as Zoom or Newrow desired • Experience with online learning platforms desired
